Background
Duffy's Food Pantry (also called Duffy's Pantry) is a community nonprofit food assistance program in Locust Grove, Virginia (Orange County). It helps individuals and families facing food insecurity by distributing donated groceries.
It was founded in 2022 and incorporated in October 2024 as a 501c3 not for profit. In March 2025 the pantry opened at the intersection of Route 3 and Route 20. In 2024 we were serving approximately 80 families. As of June 2026 we are serving 383 households.
Duffy’s Pantry is affiliated with the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank as of July 1, 2025. Since our affiliation with the food bank we have served 73,792 meals.
Location
5390-D Lyndon Drive, Locust Grove, VA 22508. It sits near the intersection of Routes 3 (Germanna Highway) and 20, behind the Sheetz and McDonald’s. The site was previously a Subway restaurant.

How to Get Food
Assistance is generally provided by appointment or as arranged (not fixed public walk-in hours like some other local pantries). It supplies dry goods, fresh produce, meats, deli/bakery items, eggs, and occasional household essentials.

Donations
Food donations are accepted every Wednesday and Thursday mornings between 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
